[06 Oct 2012|08:19pm] blurts buddies with a community full of so many people, i'm sure often people are in need of new friends but are a bit unsure about who to approach. well, we've come up with a solution for this! each week we'll do a set of blurts buddies in which you'll be paired with someone you (hopefully) aren't already friends with. should the problem arise in which you're paired with someone you already know we'll do a little fine tuning and switch out your buddy for another! buddies will be posted each sunday after adds. you're welcome to comment the sign up post all week long to sign up for the following week, and the link for this will be provided with each buddy post we make. reminders will be made each thursdays! so, the last thing you need to know is what you need to do to sign up, right? well let me tell you! • head to this post • leave a comment with the following: - your name - whether you prefer aim or customs - your screenname and/or a link to your screened post if you have any questions at all regarding the way this is going to work, any suggestions on how to better the system, or anything at all feel free to comment this post, all comments are screened. i'll try to check back on a regular basis and tend to anything you may need! post comment

[06 Oct 2012|08:12pm] member of the week a community would be nothing without it's members. the activity you guys display be it on the friends page, in comments, or by pimping the community in rps is what drives the community to continue living. don't think this isn't looked over or ignored by the mods because guess what? we notice it all! to give back to you the appreciation we feel we've decided to go ahead and start a member of the week program. each sunday two people will be chosen - one male, one female. these selected members will receive a survey via pm that they can fill out and post in their journals. these surveys are also, in a way, an update pass! receiving member of the week and posting your survey counts as an update which will then give you three weeks from the date posted before you have to write up an actual update! as we get started with this, we'll keep a record of the winners, the date which they won, and a link to their surveys. if you have any suggestions on who you feel should be honored for their activity within the community feel free to comment this post, all comments are screened! past winners ( Read more... ) post comment
